Let's Do Business and get your first month’s PR free

Stone Junction will be exhibiting at Staffordshire business exhibition Let's Do Business – 2012 on Thursday 8 November 2012. We will be promoting our own search for a PR apprentice in accordance with the Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA) apprentice scheme.

Taking place at the Britannia Stadium in Stoke-on-Trent and hosted by the North Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce, Let's Do Business is free to visitors, who will learn how we reach the technology media with our progressive attitude. This means we can extend traditional printed media relations activities into new areas like search engine optimisation (SEO), online and social impact.

By harnessing our media contacts and technical copywriting skills we facilitate the expansion of our clients’ horizons while preserving their perception as market leaders. Many of our clients sign up with us as a result of word-of-mouth references from other satisfied clients about our skills in producing distinctive publicity for their activities.

Clients can be confident that our promotional proficiency will provide tangible commercial benefits across the UK engineering industry. In addition to public and media relations, brand journalism, social media, Blogging, e-mail newsletters and video production, our campaign activities also include speaker placement and speech writing, SEO for engineering and technical companies, copy writing, production of direct-to-customer content such as white papers and podcasts, design for print and the Web, and advertising planning.

At Stone Junction, we tripled in size in 2011 by working with a diverse range of technical, industrial and engineering organisations, including trade bodies, manufacturers and service providers. We are currently looking for one new apprentice, who will benefit from a salary 50% higher than the minimum wage for apprentices, annual time off for charity activity work and a non vocational grant to be spent on learning a skill unrelated to their job.

The PRCA and Pearson in Practice are leading a partnership to develop and deliver an apprenticeship programme for the public relations industry providing non graduates with a clear, structured and industry recognised career path into the public relations. This is open to anyone over 16 living in England and not taking part in full-time education. There is no upper age limit and entry requirements are flexible.
