Moves in the marketing media

A group for industrial and engineering marketing professionalsThis has been a genuinely very quiet week in the business media with only a couple of moves to report. You can find them at the bottom of this post. (Or e-mail, if that’s the way you are reading the Blog...)

But first I thought I would mention a LinkedIn group I operate called Industrial and Engineering Marketing Professionals. It’s an open networking group that features regular news from industry and has a couple of lively discussions ongoing at the moment. When you have a second toddle on over to LinkedIn and join the group. You can find it by searching in the ‘groups’ section or by following this link.

And so, on we go to the media moves; such as they are this week.

Gareth Jones has taken over as editor of Marketing magazine on a permanent basis. He will also continue to edit sister title Revolution. Meanwhile Revolution competitor New Media Age has appointed Gina Lovett as Senior Reporter.

And David Matthews has joined weekly magazine Building as a Reporter.

See, I told you not much had happened since last Friday! Congratulations to all those journalists starting new jobs and best of luck.
