Moist morsels from the media morass

It’s Friday again and the media week has been its usual hectic merry-go-round. However, before I move on and help you extrapolate some moist morsels from the media morass a brief word for a radio station close to my heart. Save Six Music, enough said.

Steve Mansfield-Devine has been made editor of the monthly journal Biometric Technology Today, covering the biometric market worldwide. Steve tweets from www.twitter.com/webvivant.

Meanwhile it’s all go at the New Civil Engineer, where Mark Hansford is now managing editor and Alexandra Wynne has taken up the role of news editor. Olivia Gagan has joined the team as sub editor, following Lorna Donnelly's departure and Declan Lynch joins next week as technical reporter, following Jessica Rowson's departure in December. Phew, it’s lucky I have this column to help me keep up!

Over at Centaur, Jo Roberts, previously Features Writer at Marketing Week has been made Deputy Features Editor at the title. Overall, a not half busy seven days!
