Technical PR moves: One wedding, two moves and a new site

Technical PR, Engineering PR, Industrial PR, Manufacturing PRIt’s not been a hugely busy period for Media Moves this week. However, we would like to congratulate Rachael Morling, formerly Rachael Winter, of the magazines Design Solutions and Instrumentation who got married at the end of 2009. She says the wedding ‘went smoothly’ and ‘was absolutely perfect’.

Meanwhile Cold Chain News has welcomed Dean Stiles as Editor, replacing Johanna Thomson and Recycling & Waste World Magazine has welcomed new Editor Geraldine Faulkner after the departure of previous Editor Tom Freyberg.

There has also been a new addition to the industrial Internet family, in the shape of Industry Today, which bills itself as a, ‘new press release distribution and publication service’. Launched on Monday January 11, the service is not quite a new magazine as such; more a cross between a news wire and a ‘publish everything’ directory, a little bit like was once upon a time. Publication is free and there is a paid for service if you want your content optimised and a Tweet sent out, letting Industry Today’s Twitter followers know your news is there.
